Stuffed with Love!

Sending Love and supplies to Wayne, Oakland, Genesee and Macomb Counties

Thank you for stopping by.  My mission started five years ago when I was seven years old.  I was leaving the Monster Trucks show at Ford Field in Detroit with my family, when I witnessed several people living on the streets, hungry and cold.   I wanted to help them stay warm and have some supplies, so I came up with an idea to make blessing backpacks with items that would help them on cold nights and give them some snacks. My family assisted me with bringing my vision to life. I was able to create and deliver 100 blessing backpacks my first year in November and December of 2018, over half of them went to a homeless veterans shelter, the rest I hand delivered directly to the homeless on the streets.  Over the past three years, I have delivered close to 400 backpacks.  Each year I try to increase my goal.  To save money and make more backpacks, my family and I make crafts and sell them. I have also received donations from relatives, friends of the family and even some local businesses to keep my mission going.

I was very blessed to be in the Oakland Press and interviewed by Fox2 and ABC12.  I received more donations and lots of kind comments from the viewers. The last year has been tough for everyone, and many more people will be in need, so I hope to increase my goal to 200 backpacks this season.  Last year I adopted a shelter in Flint and I drop off personal hygiene kits and undergarments throughout the year.  I get to meet so many special people, hear wonderful stories, and most importantly share hugs, smiles and happy tears.  On top of my annual backpack deliveries.   Thanks to the continued support, I have been able to donate a large amount of art supplies for our veteran's to participate in art therapy.  Several families are adopted at thanksgiving, I provide a full turkey dinner with a few extra groceries. At Christmas, a few families are blessed with food and presents for those in need of a Christmas miracle. Again, this is all thanks to those who believe in my mission and support it. I couldn't do this without all of your generosity.  I hope you join me on my journey.  If you are interested in following me on Facebook, the link is:

A special thank you to Ray Ahonen from  Belfor, they allowed me to set up a booth at Jimmy Johns Field and spread information and receive donations. The owner of Belfor, Sheldon Yellen even took time out of his busy schedule to learn about my mission and inspire me.
